Shinhwa to Hold March Concert Sans Andy

Bringing good news along with the bad, Shinhwa announced that it will be having its annual March concerts again in 2014, but without Andy.

On January 24, Shinhwa stated in a press release, “As a promise made with fans, we will be having our March concert in this year as well.”

However, with Andy involved in illegal gambling issues in 2013, it was decided that he will not participate in this upcoming concert to show that he is self-reflecting on his actions.

This coming March concert will mark Shinhwa’s 16th anniversary, and the remaining five members will stand on stage.

“We want to sincerely thank the fans for sending so much love to Shinhwa in the past 16 years and we promise to work harder and show more charismatic sides during the 16th anniversary concert,” said Shinhwa. “Although, we haven’t decided on the date of release for the 12th album, we will showcase an album that will not disappoint fans.”

“Due to the series of unfortunate events, only five members, minus Andy, will be at the 16th anniversary concert, but that doesn’t mean the members of Shinhwa will change,” stated Shinhwa Company, who promised to continue working hard to become a better Shinhwa for the fans who continuously supported the group for 16 years.

Meanwhile, the Shinhwa members are currently busy working on their solo activities. Lee Min Woo and Shin Hye Sung are working on the release of their new albums, and Kim Dong Wan is acting in the musical Le Passe Muraille.
