One music source stated, "Key and Woohyun will form a unit group around February, and will show a distinctive music and performance than anything their respective teams have shown before."

INFINITE's agency Woollim Entertainment merged with SM Entertainment's SM C&C last August. Woollim Entertainment is currently running the Woollim label, and are in charge of musicians and artists that have a variety of styles and colors. This unit will be the first joint project with SM Entertainment under the same roof. While Tasty did appear as guests at a Girls' Generation concert, this will be the first joint venture.

The agency confirmed the unit group consisting of Key and Woohyun. One rep stated, "It could be as early as next month, and they will be releasing a new album in March or April at the latest. We're currently studying the various possibilities to make the optimal combination. We haven't decided on a team name yet, and the duo is currently busy recording their songs. You can definitely look forward to their upcoming activities."

SHINee was active last year with their full length and mini albums. At the January 16th Golden Disk Awards they took home three awards, including main and popularity awards. INFINITE held their '2013 INFINITE First World Tour - One Great Step' from August to December last year. They're currently busily preparing for their upcoming album, which will be released sometime soon.
